today. Performs direct observation of biomedical electronic devise
displays, reads, and mounts rhythm strips, and reports periodic or
remarkable value changes as required. Provides indirect patient
care to adolescent through adult patient population. REQUIRED:1.
Successfully complete an exam on identification of arrhythmias with
a passing score. 2. High school diploma or GED PREFERRED:1. Prior
Monitor Tech experience and/or certification. 2. Successful
completion of basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework 3.
Current knowledge of pacemakers, ICDs, and related issues as
identified. 4. Understanding of basic medical terminology.
