today. Performs direct observation of biomedical electronic devise
displays, reads, and mounts rhythm strips, and reports periodic or
remarkable value changes as required. Provides indirect patient
care to adolescent through adult patient population. Required:
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course OR Successfully
complete a competency exam on identification of arrhythmias with a
score of 85% or greater. Must possess and maintain current
knowledge of pacemakers, ICD's, and related issues as identified;
must complete on annual competency exam and correctly identify all
lethal arrhythmias and receive overall score of 85% or greater.
