ResponsibilitiesCertified or Non-Certified eligible to apply -Under direction of the Program Manager/Director, the Certified Hyperbaric Technologist administers hyperbaricoxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Certified Physician. Operates and maintains thehyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment. Accompany patients in the chamber whileundergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy, when deemed necessary by the Hyperbaric Certified Physician. Assist in thedelivery of patient care as appropriate to the level of his/her medical training.QualificationsRequired Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Provides documentation or credentials ofgraduation from an accredited school of EMT/Paramedic, LPN or equivalent medical training.Required Minimum Experience: Six months previous experience in an outpatient clinic preferred.Required Minimum Licensure: Medical Assistant, EMT II, Paramedic, LPN or college training equivalent.Required Minimum Certification: Current certification by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric MedicalTechnology (NBDHMT) as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) is required within 12 months of employment.Successful completion of an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) approved hyperbaric course with TCOMtraining. This is evidenced by the possession of a certificate of completion. Successful completion of theInternational ATMO Hyperbaric Safety Director Course, Certified with Acrylic Inspection Training course to becompleted within 12 months of employment. BLS Course "A" Certification.Required Minimum Skills:? Strong communication, presentation, and customer relation skills.? Experience managing large complex projects and has strong project management skills.? Demonstrates extensive experience in client relationship management.? Excellent analytical ability and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and other staff.? Leadership and ability to motivate others.
