The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Controller through information analysis (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of financial and operational data/analyses. Primary responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of the monthly reporting package, cash flow reporting, key performance indicators, and identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance.

Essential Functions
- Consolidate and analyze financial data of all subsidiaries of the company.
- Produce monthly key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts.
- Develop automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Create financial models for various decision support.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Facilitate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and tools.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Travel Minimum travel is required for this position.

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields.
  
• A minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution is preferred.
  
• Demonstrated capability with basic accounting tasks such as auditing accounts, developing analysis of root cause issues, budgeting and budget monitoring, and preparation of month, quarter and year end financials and related reports.
  
• Sage MAS 200 accounting system experience highly preferred, but not required.
  
• Ability to maintain organized files and documents.
  
• Requires a demonstrated ability to multitask, and to rapidly switch from one set of duties and responsibilities to another without losing productivity or making mistakes.
  
• Understanding and use of Outlook and Word, advanced Excel skill level.
  
• Ability to work independently without a great deal of supervision.
