Description:Description\: Sr Business Intelligence AnalystThe SR
Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for helping the
U.S. Pet Health organization uncover insights and drive business
results using smarter data analytics. Working closely with the Pet
Health business, The Analyst will be responsible for understanding,
interpreting, and presenting data and findings. Impactful decisions
will be made quickly deciphering data with advance analytical tools
and telling a story with the information using effective data
visualizations. This position ensures that BI utilizes a wide array
of reliable analytics techniques to deliver data-driven analytics
in the areas of pricing, customer segmentation, digital
effectiveness, lifetime value models and new product viability.
The SR Business Intelligence Analyst will also be responsible for
managing and prioritizing multiple projects and investigations for
the appropriate business unit(s) and/or functional team(s);
defining, implementing, and communicating tactics for achieving
business objectives; and evaluating business intelligence tools.
Internal clients include Marketing, Sales, Finance, Strategy and
Customer Experience. The Analyst will be responsible for working
with the solutions and Omni-Channel data delivery team to deliver
and optimize solutions for data transparency, aligning data
visualization and analytics capabilities with business goals,
transforming data into knowledgeable information, and delivering
actionable visual insights, to the right people, at the right time,
to enable the business to make more of the right decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities\:
- Analytics\: Understand and Communicate ongoing changes in the
business.
- Interface with business/functional area to identify key
questions/issues/focus.
- Monitor, track, and interpret data, information, and
metricsfrom our Omni-Channel data sources including Nielsen, IRI
and IDEXX sales data, Edge and Nielsen eCommerce data and
Numerator, Kantar and Nielsen Household Panel data.
Analyze and Build\: Perform assessments/statistical analysis using
variety of analytics tools.
- Collaborate with Data Governance/Data Architects to validate
appropriate data sources.
- Source and clean data.
- Build appropriate models to address needs and answer key
questions.
- Develop appropriate presentation of information to business
(e.g., via Power Point, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
Analytics\: Drive Action
- Assist in Marketing, Sales, Business Unit efforts to derive
action items from results.
- Monitor impact of moving forward/not moving forward with
decisions
Serve as Business Subject Matter Expert\: Drive and challenge
business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully
execute their strategy.
- Facilitate the communication and translation of business user
requirements and solutions between the customer community (internal
and external customers) and internal IT.
- Assist stakeholders to diagnose problems and understand
business needs.
- Monitor and assess data related to the online buying journey
(E-Retail analytics)
- Report web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and pixelating
site traffic workflow
Communication\: Present and facilitate meetings adapting content to
the different audiences.
- Manage different stakeholders and influence behaviors related
to the use of the information by communicating success, concerns,
risks, and status updates on related work.
- Collaborate with peers to share learnings, core processes,
systems, and best practices.
- Cultivate teamwork by facilitating cross department
communication.
Data Stewardship\: Actively support all aspects of the BIAH Data
Governance Program.
- Collaborate with Data Governance/Data Architects to validate
appropriate data sources.
- Source and clean data.
- Perform all Company business in accordance with all regulations
(e.g., EEO, FDA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, etc.) and Company policies
and procedures.
- Report all violations immediately to management.
- Document observations and provide information to management as
necessary.Requirements\:
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related
field.
- Master's degree preferred in related field.
- 5 years of experience in a related role.
- 3 years of Animal Health or Pharmaceutical industry experience
preferred.
- Expert in retail diagnostics, enterprise reporting, data
integration, and analytical techniques (e.g., Statistics).
- Proactive, Positive, Can-do Attitude.
- Experienced putting together selling stories with existing
research, syndicated data and Retail and Shopper Trends including
data from Nielsen, Numerator, Kantar, Packaged Facts, and Ascential
Edge.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas, facts, and technical
information clearly and concisely to senior management, as well as
other internal customers both verbally and written.
- Proficiency in visualization and analytic tools including any
of the following\: Powerpoint, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Qlik,
Cognos and Excel.
- Sharp analytical abilities and proven reporting and
visualization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems, evaluate
alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
and coordinate efforts with colleagues from several functional
areas.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed
organization.
- Knowledge of Competitive Intelligence Resources, Experience
gathering/monitoring New Items
- When appropriate, infuses the Voice of the Customer / Consumer
/ Shopper into business analyses.
- Seek to Innovate w/New Methods, Dashboards, Data Sets When
Needed.
- Collaborative Business Partner - Collaborative, Resourceful &
Scrappy in White Space.
- Ability to travel\: 10% (may include overnight travel)
