We value the safety of every member of our community.About this PositionThe Mortgage Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Assurance Program for Primerica Mortgage, LLC. We are seeking an organized and analytical thinking Quality Assurance Analyst who will be responsible for performing quality control and compliance reviews and ensuring mortgage loan processes meet company standards and guidelines. This position is responsible for ensuring the company remains current and in compliance with state and federal regulations, and company policies. The primary focus of this position is to test established processes and procedures and to document quality issues and provide feedback to Management to assist with process enhancements, training opportunities, and performance management.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibility:Follow quality assurance program procedures to review processes and tasks in mortgage operations and production areas including, but not limited to, system documentation, accurate assessments and determinations, calculations, timely responses, and correct file documentation.Perform timely and appropriate quality control testing and documentation.Comply with the quality assurance testing standards.Monitor quality assurance findings and their resolution.Assist with the development and implementation of QA testing strategies, such as focus areas, testing methodology, test standards, and frequency of testing.Provide sufficient and timely reporting to management as well as raise and/or escalate problems and issues to management.Provides analysis for trends and risks identified as part of the review process.Recommend efficient and effective processes for managing risk.Review applications pursuant to compliance policies and procedures analyzing loan files for completeness and accuracy of documentation.Stay current and knowledgeable on changes in mortgage operations and mortgage production processes and maintain current knowledge of the company's standards and practices.Assist with design, development, and maintenance of processes to track, monitor, and report activities. Evaluate results. Present insights and best practices.Assist documenting and updating manuals and loan documents, as changes in policies and procedures occur.Must be willing to stay abreast of state, federal, agency, and investor requirements.Provide vendor management support by documenting deficiencies and managing the resolution process with the vendor to ensure compliance requirements are met.Will be required to participate in special projects related to the mortgage lending business on a frequent basisWill work closely with Mortgage Operations, Legal, and Compliance management teams.Responsibilities include above, but are not limited to this list.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma required.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Associates degree with commensurate work experience is acceptable.Must be highly disciplined and organized.Prior QA/QC/Compliance experience required.Have a working knowledge of state and federal regulations.
