If you have these skills and are interested in learning more, contact us about this amazing opportunity.To support our client's development projects ACS is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the migration of Windows applications across AWS accounts, migrate on-prem applications into AWS, and eventually refactor the system and migrate the entire application sweet to GCP. Multiple teams will be assembled to accomplish these goals. The initial team will consist of a Cloud Architect to lead the effort, numerous cloud engineers, test engineers, and client application experts. This position requires AWS Cloud experience and either additional experience in GCP or the proven ability to learn. The ideal candidate will have extensive AWS infrastructure assignments involving assessing requirements and successfully directing the migration of applications, preferably including windows applications, to a production AWS account. This position will span multiple projects Candidates should be experts in AWS including security, possess a history of leading infrastructure migration projects.Primary Responsibilities: ---- Conduct architectural analysis of the existing Windows solution to gain an understanding of the existing technical solution--- Identify validation strategies to ensure application function, performance, and permissions equality--- Work with other architects, developers, and testers to ensure overall program success--- Plan, document, and review activities to ensure project success--- Maintain and communicate project statusRequired Skills: - - - ---- AWS Cloud products and management--- Windows system administration and internal systems including Active Directory and SQL Server.--- IaC tools expertise (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc)--- 15+ years experience in working with Infrastructure supporting enterprise-level production systems--- 5+ years designing, implementing or consulting in applications and infrastructures--- Exceptional problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)Preferred Qualifications--- AWS Solutions Architecture Certification--- Other Cloud certifications, specifically GCP--- BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringGood to have skills:--- Understanding of Agile methodologies--- Experience in Atlassian project management tools--- Understanding of security, networking, and user authenticationProject Info:--- Project: ACA Compliance MigrationApart of Phase 1 Scrum team
