Position Details:

Title: Service Technician
Location: Regional - Northern Georgia. Suwanee, GA is the regional office
Shift: Days 7:00 am -4:30 pm
Travel: Daily travel. Occasional overnights (1-2/month)
Training: on-site
Compensation: $29/hr-$31/hr estimated first year W2 -80k-82k
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Overtime (7-8hrs/week), overnight expenses covered. Company take home truck (Ford 5500 crane truck)

Position Description :
The Field Service Tech for this company will be servicing their submersible pumps in support of their wide customer base. This person is preferably a licensed electrician or has a strong electrical background. This person has a "get the job done" mentality regardless of the issue and is willing to troubleshoot to accomplish the task.

Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems and pump end issues and repair/rebuild as necessary using computerized diagnostic tools.
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and service various products as directed. Diagnose and report any damage to the Manager.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Assist customer and/or company personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed.
Train new service or other shop personnel and customers, as needed, in service and/or other related standard work.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two-year technical training or equivalent preferred.
Three to five years of experience and/or formal training or combination of education and training
Medium voltage experience a plus (-4160V)
DOT Medical card preferred
Certified electrician preferred
