Job Title:Logistics Pricing Analyst
Job Summary:As a Logistics Pricing Analyst, you are responsible for providing pricing for current and prospective customers, analyzing market trends, growing revenue through both spot market and contractual opportunities, and providing forecasting in an everchanging freight market. Responsible for accounting for and analyzing provided pricing and making appropriate adjustments when needed. A thorough understanding of the transportation industry is preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities:--- none
Duties/Responsibilities:--- Other duties may be assigned
Education and Experience:--- College degree in related field preferred--- Previous experience in pricing and logistics preferred--- Knowledge of trucking industry preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:--- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Physical Requirements:--- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.--- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
