Job TitleSales Development Representative, Sage People Job DescriptionAs a Sage People Sales Development Representative, you'll use your phone-based sales experience to help small-midsized businesses learn about how Sage People can streamline their organization with our global cloud HR and People system. You'll answer the call (literally and figuratively) for how Sage can make life easier. Each day you'll craft cocktails for generating leads, tapping into the latest technology and resources to aid your success. You'll enjoy this role if you're comfortable pitching high-level solutions to businesses and are someone your mom told you to "get off the phone" as a kid. We'll provide you with on-going training to confidently do your job and the opportunity to grow your career in sales/marketing the tech industry. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: --- Qualify leads from marketingactivitiesas sales opportunities --- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sage People's global cloud HR and People system and keep abreast of upcoming product releases --- Conduct high level conversations with HR leaders in prospects accounts by articulating Sage People's value proposition --- Actively maintain a sales pipeline with documented activity in accordance with sales processes and methodologies --- Develop and nurture a pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver to the Account Executive team to further accelerate our growth --- Continually prospect for new customer through cold calling and other lead generation efforts as assigned; nurture those prospects as assigned. --- Setup QDCs (qualified discovery calls) with qualified prospects and Account Executives Qualifications: 1+ year of sales experience (software sales is a plus, but we can train you too!). You believe in small-midsized businesses and want to see them thrive. People consider you a great storyteller, you're clear and concise! (Nice-to-have) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Perks?
