ConGlobal Industries, Inc., a leader in container sales, modifications, depot services, and parts within the shipping and transportation industries, is currently seeking an experienced Railyard Assistant Terminal Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations and management of our railyard activities supporting both domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate will work closely under the Terminal Manager to oversee daily operations, implement strategic operational efficiencies, and ensure the safety and security of the terminal operations. Assist the Terminal Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the railyard, ensuring effective performance and operation within the prescribed safety standards Coordinate with maintenance department to ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained in optimal working condition Supervise and train railyard staff, promoting an environment of safety and efficiency Monitor and manage inventory supplies to ensure they are within the set budgets and operational needs Implement operational processes and improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines pertinent to railyard operations Prepare reports on operations and productivity for upper management review Strong leadership and people management skills Knowledge of railyard operations and logistical support systems Proficiency in safety management and quality control Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant operational software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management preferred Safety management and operational compliance certifications desirable
