Serving a busy medical oncology clinic with a high acuity patient population, this role centers on administering chemotherapy and hematology treatments within a well-established cancer specialist center. Responsibilities include: Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies safely and effectively Monitor patient reactions and provide ongoing assessments throughout treatment Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and education Maintain accurate documentation according to regulatory and clinical standards Qualifications and experience required: Minimum of 2 years oncology nursing experience, including chemotherapy administration Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Chemotherapy certification mandatory Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patient cases Location Details: Situated in the Atlanta metropolitan area, this outpatient infusion center is conveniently located near key medical facilities. Marietta offers a vibrant community with access to cultural amenities, parks, and dining options, making it an appealing place to live and work. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM This contract position will span approximately 13 weeks and offers the chance to contribute to a dedicated oncology team in a supportive clinical environment.
